i don't understand why is it racial harmony when it, or rather the school, encourages us to wear our ethnic costumes. why the differentiation? it kinda symbolises that we're STILL very separated, doesn't it? like we're different, we are of different races and religions, which can be easily seen by the very obvious, what costumes we're wearing. though some may wear costumes belonging to other ethnic groups. it's just very wrong. think we should actually wear something more neutral, like the school uniform. or maybe singapore should really try to be creative to come up with a new unique costume for our identity eh. seriously, wearing ethnic costumes is like the last thing we ever need to do to bring all the races together, it really is kinda against the effort whoever/whatever has put in all these years.
